Social Karting at Xtreme Edinburgh
Social Karting Championship
Our Social Karting Championship is open to all abilities, and is a great opportunity to race with those of similar skill and build friendships. Events take place at indoor circuits such as Xtreme Edinburgh and Falkirk. For those with a more competitive spirit, the drivers in the top 10 at each event recieve points that go towards the prestigious social karting championship standings. No prior experiece is required to take part, nor is the purchase of any personal gear.
F1 Watch Along
F1 Watch Alongs at Southsider
For every Formula One race that occurs within semester time, you will usually find us in the back room at Southsider on West Richmond Street. To find us look out for updates on our Instagram Stories, or look for our committee members. Watch alongs are a fantastic way to chat about all things motorsport (or not) with likeminded people.

British Universities Karting Championship
Each year we compete in the highly competitive BUKC. Hundreds of students from all over the UK come together to race at some of the best outdoor karting circuits in the country. Last year we had a team in both the Premier and Intermediates class, and this year we are looking to qualify even more teams. Sign up is early in the academic year so make sure to follow us on our socials to keep update on how to get involved.

Navigational Rallies & Motocross
We are also doing Navigation Rallies, where a navigator plots the route on the map using the instructions given, keeping to a time schedule and making sure the car uses the correct route. The drivers job is to do as they are told.
​
If you prefer two wheels to four, or would like to experience something new, then motocross is for you! With plans to run an event in semester 2, you will have the chance to take part in the fun. Like the majority of our events, no prior experience is required, and kit will be given out at the venue.
